SORIAGE was created for the woman who gives everything to everyone — and is left with no time for herself. We make clean, multitasking wellness that brings calm and confidence back to busy lives: one intentional step, powerful in its simplicity.
Where it began
It began in a grandmother's garden
I didn’t set out to start a skincare brand.
I set out to find peace and somehow, that journey brought me to the roots of healing, to the women who came before me, and eventually…. to this.
I grew up in Munich, raised by parents who turned to gardens before pharmacies. But it was my grandmother, a woman who survived two world wars, who taught me that healing doesn’t always come in bottles. It comes in rituals. In trusting the earth.
Years later, my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. She passed within a year.
For a long time, all I could feel was helplessness. Could I have helped her feel better? Could I have brought her comfort? What did we miss?
The questions haunted me until I started looking for answers. In 2023, I began formal training in Aromatherapy. I learned what plants could do. What scents could soothe.
And then came a trip with my daughters, a vacation that would change everything.
Where it changed
A loss, and a homecoming in Salalah
In Salalah, Oman, I stood beneath the Frankincense tree. I had heard of it before, but I hadn’t felt it, smelled it or learned from it.
The local women told stories of its power, not just for skincare, but for digestion, for emotional grounding, for spiritual clarity. They chewed it. Wore it. Anointed their scalps with its oil. For them, it wasn’t exotic. It was every day.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt something shift inside me. It was like the grief cracked open just enough to let light in.
I could feel my sister’s laughter again. I could see my grandmother’s hands.
And I knew: this resin wasn’t just ancient — it was alive. It held memory. It held possibility. It held the kind of purity the world had forgotten.
When I came home, I began researching everything I could. Frankincense, particularly the sacred Boswellia sacra from Salalah wasn’t just a legend.

Each of our essential oils, is created with respect for nature and without chemical pesticides. We get to know our producers, ensuring that we only source products that are organically grown, wildcrafted, or certified organic, depending on the cultures and practices of the places around the world where the plants grow best.
As much as possible we aim to use sustainable packaging that eliminates single-use plastics in favor of biodegradable or re-usable materials. Recycling or re-use for all our packaging and containers is encouraged.
Because the ritual only matters if it gives more than it takes.
